Poultry:

Deworming: growers 12 to 18 weeks – 100ml. Adult birds about 18 weeks – 100ml/150 birds.
Immunostimulant action: chicks up to 6 weeks 100ml/300 birds. Chicks 6 to 12 weeks – 100ml/150 birds for 3 days

Side effects: Overdose may result in Nervous symptoms, salivation, restlessness which are transient in nature.
Antidote: Atropine sulphate

Meat – 3 days
Milk – None

Composition
Each 30ml piperavet wormer contains 1.785 g piperazine base (17% w/v Piperazine citrate)
Indications: For the control of large roundworms, thread worms and nodular worms in poultry, pigs, sheep, goat, dogs and cats.
Target Animal Species: Poultry, pig, sheep, goat, dog, cat
Dosage and Administration
Poultry: for Ascarids, 140mg/kg body weight, give medicated water only. Broilers under 6 weeks of age, use 60ml in 12 litres of water.

Cattle and camel
Worm dose: 30ml/100kg body wt; 60ml/200kg body wt; 75ml/250kg body wt.
Fluke dose: 40ml/100kg body wt; 80ml/200kg body wt; 120ml/300kg body wt

Sheep and goat
Worm dose: 2ml/10kg body wt

Fluke dose: 3ml/10kg body wt

Withdrawal period
Meat – 15 days
Milk – 5 days

Dosage and Administration: Orally using a balling gun or crushed and given in drinking water or feed.
For roundworms, lungworms, tapeworms: cattle, camel, sheep and goat – 5 mg/kg body weight
For liver flukes: cattle, camel, sheep and goat – 7.5 mg/kg body weight

Preventive treatment: 1g per litre of drinking water

Curative treatment: 20mg of laywright per kg per day equivalent to 2-3g of laywright egg formula per litre of drinking water for 3-5 days
